From the Airventure Oshkosh webcam. Looking to identify the two larger grey jets on the tarmac, near side. Though if anyone can identify the ones on the far side of the tarmac as well that would be a good bonus.
EDIT: Identified! Thanks!

F-86 closest to the right, A-37 next to it. A-4 in the middle and a bunch of F-80/T-33s on the far left. Far side guess Aero L-39?

The closer one is the F-86 Sabre and the farther one is a A-4 Skyhawk. I believe those are the ones you are talking about.

F86 Maybe? I am by no means an expert.

Yup. Oshkosh is amazing.

And maybe an A-4 Skyhawk?

I'd say you nailed it, thanks!

Those are the ones! Thank you

Yes

And yes

That's actually not an F-86, but an FJ Fury. The Fury was a naval variant of the Sabre. This particular example is at Oshkosh most years.

Oshkosh pro tip: stay after the Airshow, when the masses leave and bask in the glory. The light is good, you have elbow room and the big names come out to have a look at the planes.

Let me know if you want to check one out close up.

My favorite part of the day. The light makes it easy to get some great shots. Unfortunately they are having more and more musical acts on the square in the evenings which makes it much more crowded.

No. FJ Fury

I'd think the guy with f86sabre as his username would know that's an FJ Fury, not an F86 ;)

That you're sorry and it'll never happen again

Are you at Oshkosh?

It's been answered already, but yes, FJ-1/2/3/4 Fury (can't tell which one from here), then Cessna A-37 Dragonfly (was it you who told me those things are insanely loud?), then Douglas A-4 Skyhawk. I was fortunate to see the Fury at an air show down at NAS Kingsville a few years ago. Note the longer landing gear than the Sabre for carrier ops.

Yes sir. What I like to call Oshlopnik.

I'll be up Friday-Sunday and yes, I plan on taking a nice photo dump when I get back.

Back in 2010 2011 the Fury over ran the north south runway at AirVenture. Didn't even phase it. He just hooked a left and got onto a taxiway like nothing happened.

Seems like things were built a bit sturdier back in the day. But if the undercarriage can survive hundreds of traps, it can survive a little off roading.

More than likely. This AL National Guard Viper did the same thing a few days before (although at a lot higher rate of speed) and didn't fare so well.

Yes, L-39s on the far side, and a slew of T-28 Trojans.
